Sadly, my family is very upset of the loss of Brandon Atherton in the bus crash that happened early Sunday morning. Brandon was a student of my dad's @ west 6 years ago, my brother went to High School with him, and Brandon was a student teacher with the Chippewa Falls band, he was studying to be a band director. Brandon was 24 and died on his birthday. He will be missed.

happy and sad
Congrats to my dad's bank, Waukesha West (or Papa's Band as the girls call it) for winning their second straight WSMA state marching band competition this past Saturday. The gikrls really enjoyed watching all the bands.
