TODAY was a bad day, here is why.
Here is why:
I am sunburned.
I am sick with some sort of allergy/summer cold/sinus infection thing.
I have had to sleep on the couch for the past week.
1. our bed is so old if you breathe deep it makes squeeky noises.
2. i am sick with allergies which makes me breathe all wacky so I am keeping dale awake and not sleeping well.
3. I am sunburned and the couch is softer and there is no chance of some hubby rolling into me and making me wake up yelling ;)
I am sick of sleeping on the couch.
I can not breathe.
My throat is sore.
My kids are sick.
My kids are sunburned.
My kids are thus cranky and crabby.
I have no voice with which to do much of anything with...so my kids can't hear me talk.
The cat refuses to stop:
Puking on my floor and Pooping right outside of, but not in, her litter box.
My elbow is itchy for no known reason.
True Blood's season 4 premiere is like 3 weeks away, that is just way to long to wait.
My house never seems to stay clean.
and I am sunburned and sick, did I mention that?
I feel much better now that I have bitched and moaned.

Dear Ms. Baumer:
Earlier this year you contacted me about Planned Parenthood and I want to provide you with an update on recent activity. On April 14, by a vote of 42 to 58, the Senate defeated an amendment to eliminate all federal funding for Planned Parenthood. I was among those who voted to support Planned Parenthood and against this amendment.
I opposed this bill because, like you, I believe that it is in the best interest of our nation to take steps to promote preventive health care such as cancer screenings, breast exams, and HIV testing, as well as to reduce the occurrence of unwanted pregnancies. We all want access to high quality health care when we need it, and for many low and middle income women these health centers are their only source. This critical safety net must be maintained.

Dear State Senator Lazich;
According to your article in the Waukesha Freeman, Governor Walker's
budget bill really will not make much of a difference to state employees
in the area fair treatment in the work place. If that is so, why was it
necessary to take away the state workers union rights? Yes, I know you
will tell me that having a union is a privilege, not a right. We could
argue that point all day, but the bottom line is that Governor Walker
did not campaign on a union busting platform, our public schools are
losing millions in funding as well as the City of Waukesha.
We have been told that the current budget bill is the only solution.
That is simply not true. There are always other solutions. What is true
is that if you want to bust state worker unions, hamstring the public
education system and dump the budget problem the state has on local
municipalities, then maybe it is the only solution.
Please understand the the frustration you have seen in the capitol and
on the streets of our state is representative of real concern. What you
should be praying for is that Governor Walker is right, because if he
isn't both he and you will be looking for different work come the next
election. My email box has been flooded with information on recall
votes for both Democrats and Republicans alike. Perhaps it is time to
clean house and seek different answers for our states problems.
Please convey my thanks to the Governor for diminishing my grand
childrens future education.
