Been crazy busy! Had a fun easter...took girls to the park for swing time on Goodfriday, they had fun being pushed on the swings by a couple of baby crazy 5 year olds. Minda likes to give everyone kisses and gets mad when she cant give kisses to her favorite teachers at day care.

Dale and I are looking forward to our vacation in door county next week. :)

have been really busy the past few weeks....have been swimming with the girls every thursday night, they seem to like it quite alot....have been doing some spring cleaning around the house...the siding is now up, and dale and his dad put on our storm door saturday....I now have a door for the cat to look out of!

We have about 10 pounds of junk from the siding and dead leaves to rake up (like i will have time to do that!) sometime this week.....

got a Cd care package from Renee (thank you hon!) with the new ani cd and 2 mix cd's (very very good music) and a tee shirt from a band called "mary"

We dont have any big easter plans, maybe going to dales moms house for ham and fun with robin.....we have to do easter pictures this saturday, so i have that stressfilled puke/cry fest to look forward to.

OK! We went to Jim and Crystals BBQ Baby Shower today and CONGRATS to Gary and Julie as they are pregnant with #1 (Gary also got his new Harley as well!). Visited with Jason, Jamon, Scott and his family, Mikey, Jim, Crystal, Julie, Gary, and Brian L!

Girls had a nice time over at their place which is 100% different from 3 years ago when I was there!

Hey. Have been busy and sick. The girls have coughs and so that is making life happy fun fun for us. Mya wakes herself up coughing, Malinda wakes herself up when she rolls over. Its interesting.

My atty friend Craig is coming out next week from NYC to visit, I have to find an excellent place (read expensive) to eat. Any suggestions for restaurants are welcome.

Ok, I am too busy to blog. The kids and I have a 24 hr flu bug-yuck. Working downtown has been fun so far. I work across from a bookstore (there goes my paycheck). Pictures were on saturday, robin visisted-that was fun. This week Toni goes to florida so we have to put one girl in daycare 4 days :(. Sorry for not blogging lately, been busy. Last week the girls had their 1st swimming lesson! They went underwater, swam around, did some splashing etc...Mya loved it!! Malinda, well shes not so sure....and now I think she has another ear infection to boot (sigh).

Things are heating up over at Nationstates. Im in a "war" of words with the current leader, its a silly riot. Im laughing my ass off.

BUSY WEEKEND! Went to the autoshow yesterday, madison on saturday, took the girls for a walk or 2 since the weather is so warm (50 degrees)...Watched the Oscars last night, (LOTR won 11 of 11) and plan on doing some housecleany stuff today or tomorrow (if I have the energy!) New job going well. Dont have email yet. Both the kids and dale and mum and my dad and my mom and now me have that lousy virus thats going around. If you are sick and have been around us, its our fault! Malinda is just getting over her three day comin out of both ends fest...ive enjoyed giving baths at 3:30am and getting pooped on and changing sheets and whatnot. Bah. Tonight I just want to watch Gilmore Girls, relax on the couch and take a nap. I forgot how horrible it is to have to work for a living.

Fun day. Vanessa and Josh came over to play with the babies! :) They were VERY good. We had steak for dinner (yum) with red beans and rice (double yum). The girls went to bed early so I was able to cross stitch and type up my other blog.

So I got a job offer today. The company is called Advantage Leasing. Its a paycut from my last job, BUT its a small company and there is TONS of room to grow. The person who interviewed me seems really excited about having me come on. I'm going to take the weekend and sleep on it. The Up side is room to grow, the downside is I would have to drive into Milwaukee everyday, for less money...

Have been very busy of late what with my trip to PA, no clothes etc... Dale has the flu and an ear infection, so needless to say hes a bit cranky and sick. I have the flu as well but I seem to be tolerating it more....

While in Philly I ate at Morimoto's restaurant and had some excellent seafood (better than Nobu) and some Wasabi that could kick your ass. Ate dinner the next night at a place called the Capital Grill (right across from the hotel on Broad street in PA) they had a nice delmonico steak, verrry tasty.

waiting on the offer letter for the new job at work with my old boss. Hopefully that comes through this week or next because Im dying here at work....

Coming down off a pretty busy Monday. The sad aftermath is I have a boring rest of the week at work to look forward to, unless something interesting comes up...Seriously concidering taking that other job that should be offered within the month, we will have to see how the $ situation shapes up next year with the review.

Apparantly on the other side of the job front Dale got his review and his raise which was excellent but the company doesnt believe in giving huge % raises. I think the whole company will quit and form their own consulting firm, then they can do the same work but get paid the "consultant" rate.

spent the night at the er with malinda. they think she may have to be admitted to childrens hospital for a upper gi scan/consult. I guess she may have acid reflux which is why she is so crying all the time. so i have had no sleep.

last night 1st night without the girlies...we spent it taking a nap (during the muppet show no less), washing dishes, bottles, clothes and then watching ER. Also took a dinner date to Jaliscos (ok la estacion...) for burritos

Busy week. Its not hard being back at work, its just hard getting organized everymorning. Packing the bottles, clothes, lunch, cooler for milk, pump for milk, bag for me, two car seats, gym bag. My trunk is full every AM. Plus I feel constantly in motion, get up at 5am, feed, pump, load car, drop off at day care, drive to work, pump work, pump, lunch, leave to visit girls at lunch, come back, work, pump, work, drive home to do housework for 30 min, drive to daycare to pick up kids, come home, unload car, drop off or switch babies with someone and it goes on and on. Last night I fell asleep and missed the last 15 min of Angel (grr, arg)

Tonight is our 1st kid free night. Both girls sleeping at grandmas.

Raining out, alot of rain, managed to rake majority of backyard...chatted with kristy about daycare....remind me to tell laura about the wheat free, gluten free, soy free candy shop that makes any kind of candy (choc) you want! Today is gaming and housecleaning.

today ran errands, dropped of work stuff, sams club, post office, etc...will rake leaves in backyard today with dale.

went shopping at its new to you kids (toys, 2 outfits) and the gap (cheep halloween costumes) and torrid (expensive, pinstripe pants). watched "I am Sam" super good and sad, did xstitch, going to rents for dinner

got baptism gown for malinda in mail, good find, $9.99 on ebay. Have my old gown for Mya...Mya at the Baumers tonight, Malinda there tomorrow. Heading out to MF for the day tomorrow. Tonight heading to store, gas station, and craft store.

went to baptism class tonight, sat next to chad kilton, who i went to HS with. Ate potluck, prayed, etc...things i do for my kids. Girls stayed at grandmas. tomorrow mya is going to stay at grandma and grandpa baumers overnight, malinda will be here with us, then i think we will swap on thurs. friday nite is trick or treat, will see what kristy and jeff are up to i think....?

I am going to rename this page "crabby for life." My new boss hs denied me working from home because he "can not accomodate a flexwork plan in the forseeable future, make alternate childcare arrangements." Putting my kids in daycare will cost me more than I make per month, that is just swell. I cant afford to work and I cant afford to quit. Lovely

Crabby baby day. Went to Sentry, did dishes, packed up for daycare tomorrow. Hope to get some x-stitching done.

Today malinda was at the baumers (overnight) so Mya and I and my mom went down to the eastside to take my grandma and aunt to the craft fair at Dominican HS (where my mom, aunt, uncles, and all counsins went/go). Bought some wonderful organic tea-tree oil soap and a hand painted gourd that looks like a turkey.

This afternoon plan on reading EW and resting!

Tonight Mya is staying over at my parents house, tomorrow Malinda, Mya and I are going to Tonis house in the AM, doing some shopping at Marshalls and Mayfair, and Malinda will spend the night at Mum and Freds.

The girls will be baptised on November 23rd at Noon at St Williams church. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Going back to work 11-3, picked a daycare, kids going to kindercare.
Did the MW thing tonight, dale won the fellowship and got a toy, hooray for him hey?
Today girls went to walmart to get photos done, the plus is we get a ton of pics for $3.88 each, the downside is its walmart so that means cheezy backgrounds etc...
Going to the dr on thursday, I have a thyroid condition(?) gotta get that checked out, more doctors, more pills.
This weekend, no plans since jeff cancled sundays game-a-thon, note to self, ask jeff if we should create a blog for the D&D game....

trying to go back to work early, im done with this whole leave thing....

Interesting day today for me. My motherinlaw and I took the kids to the mall, did some shopping, ate lunch, and then went to Mommy and Me Cinema at West Point Cinemas, watched "Intolerable Cruelty," which was very good. Next week we plan on seeing "Runaway Jury." Mommy and Me Cinema is where you can bring your kids (babies) to the movies. Everyone is crying, fussing, etc so no one minds. There were about 50 people there, pretty good turnout.

Then Dale ditched me tonight to play MW so me and the crabby girls stayed home. Mya pooped herself all over so we had a bath and a change. Watched ER, read my US Weekly, comforted kids (endless comforting required), and took a break (now) once dale got home.

Now I have to give Malinda a bath, whoo hoo.

kids weigh in at 7 15 and 7 7 respectivly with the length being 20 and 1/2 inches long. going in for my 6 week checkup today, played MW last night, baby sock was stuck in washing machine which is why it wasnt draining. had to sleep on couch past two nights with kids as they are sick. getting lunch from dad today from murfs and going to sams club tonight for water and snacky treats. expect to rent "chicago" on the TV tonight. my exciting life huh?

busy day today, took kids to the dr for shots and a checkup, malinda is allergic to breast milk and now has to try soy milk....fun.

stopped into work to meet the new boss and to take alan to lunch, went to pedros pedros making mexican, girls puked all over everywhere and are now vibrating in their seats, dale is at the bike shop selling his cycle.

expect washer repair man to fix machine tomorrow am, wed dr appt and lunch from dad, thursday, mommy and me movie, intolerable crulity.

girls slept well last night, ergo, mommy slept-in her bed (wow) for over 2 hours. Go Mary! Mum over today, we took kids for a walk (80 out) and fed them etc...then tonight took kids to West to watch the band so dale could have some alone time. Now Mya asleep in the swing, Malinda sleeping on dad, dad watching Reno 911, Mom off to milk the cow.

laura and her friend jens down from st paul for a quick visit. went to beans and barley with V to eat veggie food and show off the girls. Malinda puked all over evrything. Mikey came over tonight to play the new Munchkin 3 set with all of us, I won. Whoo Hoo!

Tomorrow we go to play MW sealed at Hobbytown, hope we get new figures for last month!

helpful tip of the day: if you are using a mousetrap to catch mice in your garage, when you catch a mouse you should dispose of it right away, if you let it sit for an unknown period of time, the mouse will be filled with maggots and they will drip all over your garage and make your husband puke.

got a double stroller yesterday, took the kids for a walk around the block, which they slept through....they also seemed to sleep through the night (meaning they slept for 3 hours at a crack and didnt scream).

Today we have no plans, since its like 50 degrees i dont think dale will be mowing the lawn, tonight we will most likely watch the friday night crap-a-rama on TV.

Tomorrow we are going to toni and freds for dinner and to see the great grandmas (and the new kitty)

Tomorrow will be out of the house with dale sans babies playing MW at Hobbytown. Mum is coming over to watch the kids. Will be working with my mom this week to turn our hall closet into the kitchen pantry, turn the space under the stairs into something actually organized, and I also hope to get all the ucky wallpaper steamed off in the bathroom. Dale goes back to work sept 28th :(

went to old navy today to get pants that fit, they had a massive sale so i managed to get some xmas presents for dale and bucko. other than that, just watching football and holding the babies.

visited my grandma in the hospital this am. She has cancer in her bowel, but they are doing surgery on monday to remove the cells that are "bad." She is also malnurished because she was refusing to eat for a few weeks there. She also refused treatment since April, but finally my dad carried her (really) into the hospital. She weighs like 75 lbs and is extremely sick, we are hoping she can get better soon and go back home with her boyfriend....:)

found out yesterday one of my friends is getting divorced after a year of being married. was pretty shocked at the news. off to watch most extreme elimination challenge!

went and worked out yesterday. who knew walking on the treadmill for 20 min would nearly kill me? kids doing fine. today the rents are coming to fix the china cabinet, turn our closet into a pantry and something else (i forget what) went out last nite to west to see the marching band, that was pretty fun. kids seemed to like all the attn.

this afternoon ill be lucky if i can get a nap in.

was in the hospital for overnite again. i have 2 duadnal (sp?) ulcers. I am on drugs and was shoved with enough IV fluids to kill someone and demoral, yea for demerol! now im home again changing diapers, feeding, and listening to johnny cash.

well its pretty likely ill be back in the hospital tomorrow. i was puking rainbows today and have a fever. I am going to the doctor tomorrow and may be admitted. Is'nt that super?? Ihave had more problems after being pregnant than i did during!! Kristy must have jinxed me!! (haha)

Dale has been super wonderful taking care of the poopers, plus our parents have been working the night shift. Fred and Toni are here right now. Its been great that everyone is helping since I can barely function myself. its totally miserable since i dont have any meds to remove the kidney stone, i just sit (lay) here and wait. totally bunk.

in other news our neighbors stopped by with cinnamon bread which dale assured me was tasty. i wish i could eat it. i guess the plus of not eating is I am losing weight like crazy, the downside is my milk will be effected if i dont eat.

sunday, football day. got much sleep thanks to mom staying over last nite. may eat today, wow. babies had a bath and are chillin with dad!

hello again, babies are both home now. Mommy has been in the Er 2x, had 2 CT scans (with a ge 8 slice lightspeed) and found out I have kidney stones. have had both moms here to help with the babies. They are doing really well, you can see them at this linkon shutterfly. feel free to stop over and see the kids if you want, today they had a visit from breezy and her moms new jeep, whoo hoo!

hello all! We had the babies Sunday August 31, 2003. Malinda Elise was born at 9:23am and is 5 lbs 5/8 oz and 18 1/2 inches long. Her sister, Mya Elizabeth was born 7 minutes later at 9:30am and weighed 4 lbs 14.2 oz and was 18 inches long. Malinda is doing well and is in the room with us most of the day, Mya is in the NICU because she came out too quick! She has a bruise on her nose (thanks mom) and some fluid in her lungs (because she didnt get pushed for like 30 min like her sister to clear it out) and she is getting antibiotics for something, I just dont remember what! I just finished holding her and she is getting a lovely suntan from the lamp in the NICU, she can come home with us on Thursday. I am now going back to the suite to feed Malinda (again) provided she can figure the whole sucking thing out! Other than the extreme pain and the 18 and 1/2 hours of labor, Mom and Dad are doing swell!
