Catching Up

Catching you all up…..

It's been a pretty busy week or so here. I've been planning and cooking and buying food for Robin's party (wedding shower) which was Saturday. It was a Mexican theme since Robin is getting married in Mexico. We had about 20 people (?) and enough food to feed 40 ( I would guess.) We ate Mexican for dinner Saturday night, Lunch and Dinner Sunday. Then I am having more Mexican today for lunch. My thought is if I never see another taco shell after this week it will be too soon!

Robin got a TON of kitchen stuff and she seemed pretty pleased. I met her future M-I-L and her future Aunt in Law (?) They drove all the way out here from Vermont and Pennsylvania (respectively) very long trip!

Dale and Fred took the girls to the zoo and they had a nice time. Malinda went and cracked everyone up, she was watching the cows get milked and they were mooing, whatever, Dale said "would you like to talk to the cows?" Thinking she would just moo back. So she walks up to the cow and says "Hello, why are you so nice?" What the hell? I guess Dale and Fred cracked up over that one.

Sunday was windy (40 mph) and crappy so the kids stayed inside. Malinda decided to play with her poop again Sunday AM so we started out the day GREAT! She fell at Toni's house last week and gashed her hand pretty good, well playing with her poop and getting poop in her cut means she now has an infected cut in her hand. We are zipping her up backwards in her jimmies from now on (sigh).

Friday night I had my twins club meeting, it was pretty good. I'm perturbed with someone in the club for the controlfreak way they are handling something, but I'll survive.

This week, Yoga tonight, Wednesday night is a Scrapbook meeting for Memory Junction, Friday we only have 1 kid, and that on day he gets a 2
nd flu shot. Saturday I have no plans, maybe we will hit Betty Brinn?

Jeff and Kristie are here next week, we\'re planning on trying to see them.

I also got the 4th book in the Fire and Ice series "A Feast of Crows" by George R.R. Martin, they have delayed the publishing of this book like 2 years. It's been crazy. Its pretty good so far. I just finished "Wicked" which was also really good. "

Today my coworker carrie found out that her male cat is actually a female cat, she bought him/her from a pet store who sad "of course is boy cat," then a vet she took him/her to for a check up before she bought said "of course is boy cat," then the vet she took him/her to today for neuter said "we cant neuter your cat, we can spay your cat, he's a her." needless to say, she was pissed.

My mother in law goes in for surgery next week, good luck to you mum, you will be OK.

busy cooking like a fiend for Robins shower this saturday.

I dont clot anymore (good) but my leg is bleeding and won't stop (bad).

Blood Everywhere

malinda fell at grandma's and cut her hand, it was OK til she came home and fell (again) then Blood everywhere. she had to go to the other grandmas and get patchedup, but she got a popcycle so she was a-ok. Today at work, 5 1/2 hours of nothing while I waited for incoming calls!

Laura leaves for Kenya soon, I will miss her as she goes to work in Africa for a year with no power on a regular basis to email and keep up, be safe over there cat!!!

I got a flu shot today and my arm hurts.

Work is OK, and I am going to Mexico to see my sister in law get married, now I need to get some sort of dress thing to wear, or something, I dont know.

My arm hurts and I have to go clean my kitchen which is a disaster.

happy halloween, took kids trick or treating today at Sentry, ate lunch at McDonalds, mowed the lawn, cut the bushes, cleaned out the gargage, have a sore neck, went to the paper by the pound sale at Memory Junction, and plan on watching Dorm Daze tonight and sorting paper.

Kristie, the girls LOVE the fridge thing, theysay every day "like keira's! thanks Keira!" its pretty cute.

Monday I start Yoga at 4:15, Gentle Flow. Then trick or treating (3 kids as pumpkins) and sleep, glorious sleep.

I work with a cool guy named Ryan, we decided we must have the same brain since we pretty much like all the same obscure things (freakazoid, get a life, etc...) hes funny as hell.

Weekend

Friday night, Yoga canceled, very sad. Calf still sore from Pigeon and balance moves last week.

Saturday, Pumpkin Farm Twins party, girls had fun, Owen sick so stayed with Grandma, saturday night found me in Urgent care (see below) with Owen as he has croup and got a nebulizer treatment to help him breathe.

What are the chances that I see not one, but TWO HUGE deer in my parents neighborhood less than a block from each other. I guess urban sprawl is making the deer roam around the million dollar houses.

Today Packers (bastards) at my Aunt and Uncle's house in Delafield, kids sick and cranky, me sick and cranky, house is a mess.

This week work, Yoga, work, workout, work work work, sleep.

Also my brother had a date (2!) with the same girl from his teaching classes. CRAZY!
