LAST DAY AT WORK :)

Planning on leaving as soon as I can today....I am tired. Contractions all last night which kept waking me up. Strangly I am not getting up to pee as much as "they" say you do. My guess is after the twins (up every 15 min) my body has no problem with the extra pee?

Last night was a treat for us as Dale was home on a Tuesday (no more MW) so Malinda had fun having her bath (which I usually can't do on my own) and playing with Dad. She ate a really large dinner.

Once again I'm on a rampage about Juice at daycare (they keep giving her juice 2x a day which = really messy poops) and about the handicapped space.

So for the past 2-3 weeks (since it got really cold) parents are just parking in the ONE handicapped space at daycare to "run in real quick" and pick up the kids. Do they have stickers or passes, oh hell no. Its totally making me insane. Now would I like to be able to park RIGHT next to the door so I can hussle the kids in and out, yes, yes I would. But if my sad sack, pregnant ass can park way down the row and pick up my kids so can your fat ass. Every time I see someone park there I make the center director (who really hates people who do this as much as I do) go out and yell at the parents. I am about THIS close to calling the cops on this one lady who parks there for like 30 min while she chats with her friend that works there. I had to wait 10 min for a parking spot yesterday and this bitch pulls in, sees me waiting so she parks in the handicapped spot. I overheard Gina yelling at her and she said "whats the big deal, I was in and out in 5 min?" I am tempted to ask my dr for a parking sticker and park my car right behind her to proove a point. "This is the big deal you inconciderate bitch, nice values you are teaching your kids, its OK to break the law if you do it really quick.

Tonight plan on bathing Mya and watching "King Arthur" from netflicks (finished Monk season 1 disc 4 last night and scrapbooked our playdate with the girls page)

Oh the doctor thinks the kid weighs around 8lbs!! I have gained over 6 lbs since last week! Ouch! I guess the week before last I was down 3 lbs, so I guess my net gain is 3 lbs (0r whatever) 2 weeks ago the dr. estimated the baby would be around 6lbs 12 oz...but if i get any bigger this one is really going to hurt coming out (FYI, a 5lber and a 4 lber dont feel like nothing)

Went to the doctor yesterday, I guess I'm almost 3 cm dialated or something. I actually saw my doctor (i guess my nurse lady was overbooked and my doctor wanted to see me) she stripped my membranes and was all giddy "wouldnt it be great if you could deliver today or tomorrow, because I'm on call!" I was speechless as last week she was all "we can't possibly do anything to speed this up for you."

Then she sd, well if you don't deliver by the 27th (my next appt) lets talk about inducing you!! What-the-hell???

The stripping my membranes didnt really do anything for me, I was slightly crampy last night but no biggie....Watched ELF with Dale (it was pretty funny) and one ep of Monk on DVD.

The girls were insane when I got home, they were running around the upstairs screaming and eating cookies. It was a bit overwhelming!

My last day at work is tomorrow and I seriously can not wait, I'm sick of walking down here every day.

So Dale's boss was giving him suggestions for what he can do to help me have the baby when we want to (vs nature-the bitch). Steve (his boss) suggested Dale get really drunk to the point where he can't drive. Then I will go into labor. Apparantly Steve did this when his last child was born and was too drive to drunk his wife to the hospital. Thanks to Steve for the "dee's nuts" Tee shirt and the Chappelle Show Season 1 DVD.

Stayed home from work yesterday as I felt like crud. Watched the Entire LOTR:ROTK documentary dvd footage-brain exploded. Also managed to get to the post office and post my out of country packages. Tonight is our Xmas Party, dinner doesnt start till 8pm!? arg.

Dale gave me his cold. Now instead of bloody noses in the morning from being too dry, I'm all full of snot-lovely.

Mya and Malinda now like to dance by spinning in circles. Very nice. Malinda had breakfast for dinner last night and seemed to enjoy that quite a bit, She threw up on me before bed so that was a nice capper to my evening!

Watched "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement" last night and also most of Disc 1 of "LOTR: Return of The King: Special Edition." I think I have like 500 more hours of that movie to go.

My dr sucks. There is no "medical reason" to induce labor. There is also no medical reason for elective cosmetic surgery, male circumsisions, scheduled c-sections, or the other million elective proceedures we humans allow dr's to do to us annually. God forbid I should pick and choose my own due date to best suit my families needs. Fuck everyone. Poop on your head.

We had the girls over on Saturday to play (that is the pictorial below) Thanks for the new piano Keira! The girls went to grandmas yesterday for a few hours while Dale and I did laundry, cleaned upstairs, I dusted and got things ready for our Baumer Xmas this weekend! Girls went to bed early Sunday as they were wiped out. I scrapbooked a few pages and watched football then went to bed. :) Dr's appt today where I get to try and convince her to induce labor on the 21st.

here' are Julie's Boys...aren't they cuties!? Posted by Hello

Friday, December 10, 2004

Last night we went and got a haircut for Dale with a new girl in downtown Waukesha, she did a nice job and their salon is cute...we went shopping as both of us needed to bring in food for a food day at work today (many kringles=happy coworkers.), went home and read my new book, "The Magnificent Ambersons" by Booth Tarkington (won a Pulitzer Prize back in the day), watched yet another depressing Christmas ER and went to bed.

This AM I have chicken and dumplings in my slow cooker for dinner tonight and its (as I mentioned) a food day at work. We have GOBS of food and I am drinking Holiday Punch which hasnt been spiked yet (thank god) with Vodka. Although I really miss the Vodka....

My dad bought Dale and I a nice bottle of Champainge (not Veuve Cliquot, but you cant really expect a parent to drop a few hundred on booze for their kid, Thanks dad) for after the pregnancy.

I have a list of like 20 things I totally must get done in the house before the kid comes one of which is get rid of the last futon I have in my house. I hate futons.

This weekend should be interesting, we have 4-5 kids plus our 2 coming over for playtime on Saturday afternoon. I have to make sure to get the crap all picked up in the basement so we have room for the kids to deposit more crap all over the basement, which should be fun. Sunday I plan on asking for 45 min to go Westwood and sit in the therapy pool, my back feels yucko.

I have 3 new books (whoo hoo) I just finished London Bridges by James Patterson, I have two new Angie Amalfi (joanne pence) mysteries, plus the aforementioned book by Tarkington and I have a new Manor House mystery by kate Kingsbury. Im waiting for 7 more books to come in the mail so hopefully I have enough to read through the weekend.

So we fixed everything at daycare. I had a long chat with the center director who assured me that the stupid fat chick taking care (ha!) of the girls is just a floater and she has been talked to about what happened. I guess their new regular teacher was pretty upset with the floater too because she didnt want to change anyones diapers! Gina (thats the director) said she appreciated that i told her there was a problem etc...so I felt better about it I guess.

I assume she had a nice day yesterday as I didnt pick her up, Toni did.

Mya was cranky last night and didnt want dinner but she did have a nice bath. Dale and I watched "The Bourne Supremecy" which I thought was very good. I went to bed after South Park and pretty much passed out. I also fell asleep in the car this morning in the parking lot listening to Bob and Brian. If I can't stay awake I'll head over to my aunts condo and sleep for a few hours.

PART 2

So after hauling my incredibly sore and unhappy kid (who now has no socks on) to the car I call my Mom and ask if we can just eat dinner there. Malinda was going to need a bath and I cant really bend anymore to do it very well plus it was way late and I had no time to make dinner for her and Dale wasnt going to be home....Malinda was upset pretty much the rest of the night because her bum hurt her pretty bad and she was just mad. We went home eventually, read some books and to bed.

I worked on my scrapbook, watched Pirates of the Caribean for kicks and went to bed. Thankfully this AM Malinda was feeling much better and looked pretty cute in her new Minnie Mouse overalls and bright red shoes.

Today I plan on taking Mya home and eating potatoes and veggies for dinner, watching "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story" and going to bed.

I had a bad daycare experience yesterday, which was the 1st one I have had. I got there at 4:35ish and Malinda is (as usual) sitting with her teacher crying hysterically. I pick her up and notice her pants leg is a big dirty and well, wet. I thought "maybe she fell outside in the wet?" Hmmmm "She smells poopy" the teacher is "oh, again, i dont think so?" I go to change her and she is literally covered from her waise down INTO HER SOCKS with crap. I am not kidding. She has diper rash all over her butt AND her legs (and you dont get diaper rash from sitting in poo for only a few minutes) and I spend 10 min cleaning her up, changing her clothes and trying to calm her down.

The teachers (who are really young BTW) said "well we were just about to do her 4pm changing" OK its 4:40. I said "when did you change her last?" "oh around 2:15." So her 4pm changing wasnt done when I got there at 4:35...I didnt get her sheet from that day (another long story) and didnt know that she had had 4 poopy diapers and thats it all day. I have a kid covered in shit who is hysterical and I'm trying to not kill everyone in the room.

I dont understand HOW you can have a dripping with crap kid on your lap and not notice that she is dripping with crap. We changed rooms early to "ease the stress" on them and me with the new baby coming but this week has been anything but less stressful.

Plus the girls in there seem pretty dim....I have to ask Kristie who they are....I don't think they are the regular teachers that are always in there, at least I hope not!

I sent a pretty bitchy email to the center director this morning voicing my extreme complaint with yesterday and Monday (dale sd they were so disorganized he got no sheets, they couldnt find the kids coats and no one helped him out to the car with the kids) and asking that she do something....

I ate a crappy lunch today and now I feel all lousy.

Had dr's appt yesterday. Dr said if the baby is over 8 pounds she would be surprized. She is thinking closer to 7ish than anything. We discussed inducing labor, stripping my membranes etc...My dr's last day on call is 12/21 so that would be a good day to get the birthing done...I could have the kids taken care of, get the baby out before christmas, take the rest of the year off....I'm pretty worried about going into labor downtown, having to worry about getting back to Waukesha, who will get the kids, can someone get the kids etc....So we will know more about that next Monday when I go visit my real Dr. (vs the nurse)

Tonight is GG and cleaning a bit.

Last night we did some cleaning and went to Sam's Club so we could buy food for Dale's work's food drive. I watched a bit of TV and did some xstitch. My mom came over and put my closet back to rights.

Dale once again messed up the alarm and I was late. The alarm only ever seems to not go off on the one day a week I dont have to rush to get dressed etc...in 5 min and get the kids out of the door. Now my whole day started off lousy.
